ATV as access point?

ATV as access point?

Can apple tv be used as an ethernet access point? My new Samsung Blu-ray player will not even see my TC.

No. The ATV can connect to an existing network but doesn't function as an access point. If you're Samsung uses WiFi, there shouldn't be any reason that I can think of that it shouldn't access a network that uses a TC as a router. The only thing I can think of is that you may have set the TC to only use "n" and the Samsung isn't capable of that. You'd need to check your settings for the TC using the Airport Utility in your Utility folder. As I'm not currently using an Apple Airport device, I can't access the exact settings.

Best of luck.
